It is the policy of the Library, as a part of its information mission, to provide a suitable place in the community where its residents may display works of art that they own and/or have created. In providing or denying space for such display or exhibit, the Library does not imply that such display meets or does not meet critical standards for artwork, or that the Library endorses or supports the artist’s or owner’s point of view. Through its own collection and display of artwork as well as that of private owners, the Library recognizes the role of art in the cultural fabric of the community.

The Library will make a certain amount of space available on an on-going basis for the display of artwork and the rules for such display have been incorporated into the agreement that must be executed by anyone wishing to display artwork.
