FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARIES TOTE BAGS are available for purchase in both libraries at the adult desk. The cost is $10.00 each and they make a great gift item for birthdays or holidays!
Special events
ASK-A-LAWYER - Have a legal question? Get a free consultation with an attorney from the New Haven County Bar Association. The Friends of the North Branford Libraries, in conjunction with the New Haven County Bar Association, are offering free, private, fifteen minute sessions with an attorney from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Atwater Memorial Library. No advance registration is required.
For spring 2008, the dates are Jan. 30, Feb. 27, Mar. 26, Apr. 30, & May 28.
FUNDRAISER: The FONBL and the Barnes & Noble Bookstore gift wrap fundraiser coming in November 2008.
Book Discussion Series: Come Read With Us!
A book discussion group sponsored by the "Friends" will be held on
scheduled Thursdays from 12 noon until 2 p.m.. Meetings will be monthly (just
one meeting in summer), and all meetings will be at Atwater while Smith is closed
for renovations. If you love to read, please feel free to join us!

The Third Annual Friends of the Library Book Sale will be held Saturday June
7, 2008, 9:00-3:00, on the front lawn of the Atwater Library.
Donations for this sale will be accepted starting in April 2008. Watch this
site for further details.
Thanks to all who donated their time and their books last year to make it successful.
We look forward to your participation in 2008.
The libraries are still happy to take volunteers in the "Adopt-A-Shelf" program and are looking for volunteers to help with library improvement /decoration projects.
